1.1 on iOS incoming
I released the iOS build of my game in the 10th January and it's had a lot of patches since then.
These updates included many performance tweaks fixes and twaeaks to levels.
The new 1.1.0 version brings a lot of work to the second loop.
Second loop changes include:
- New colours for the skys and environments.
- Numerous enemies have new attacks and bullet patterns.
- More variation between the first loops and second loop.
Also 1.1 brings:
- Greater balancing of the three difficulty settings.
- Some small tweaks to the first level.
- Automatically pauses when a gamepad disconnects.
A number of bug fixes.
I've sumitted this version for review with the steam store as well:
The PC version also has enhanced graphics and adds graphic settings options. You can see a bit of it here:
I've schedualed the PC release on Steam and Itch.io to be the 1st of march which gives times for future updates.
So what else is there to do before release?
The main game consists of three levels with three bosses. It then loops to a very heavily remixed second loop. Then it loops again and again with increased difficulty. It is a game designed around 1cc so if you die it's game over.
There is no limit to how heavily I could remix the levels and I could basically swap out levels with completly new levels in future so the game is infinatly expandable. The second loop stays in theme with the first but many sections of levels are redone.
